Detailed description

Jesko Peppler and Janik Setz who are originally from Tuttlingen, Germany met each other already in school. They decided to make music, after the decision was made the search for a suitable rehearsal room began. Quickly they found something suitable and after just a few Jam-sessions, another decision was made: There had to be more than just jamming!

A short time later they brought Jonney Esposito, a fellow guitarist on board locked themselves in the rehearsal room and started writing their own songs. As though by chance they added their later bassist and drummer (Hora)ziu Soruika, part time drummer from the PinUp punk band called “The Thriller Party Pinups” to the band.

He was rocking the same rehearsal room as the three boys and so one thing led to another. Now the band was almost complete. The only thing missing was a suitable band name. The guys did not have to think long and so they came up with the name Goodbye EMMA!, in reference to a friendly person named Emma.

With “Coming home” they guys from Goodbye EMMA! exceed limits and mix various styles of music to a skillful and powerful package. Progressive guitars, dynamic bass lines, supporting drums and a striking synthesizer, give the EP a lasting and impressive charm.
The powerful and at the same time distinctive voice, lets variety of vocals act mature and energetic. In
the course of time, the songwriting of the band changed. Once most songs negotiated about personal feelings, love and their own everyday lives, now “Coming home” is about general topics like stories of an ever-changing society and constant changes of the everyday life of the people today.

The order of tracks captures the listener, throws him in the blurred dream of a successful party night in which the hangover already resonates subliminally. You feel like a visitor, who is moving between rooms with music of different accents, but the same basic color.
“CAN´T STOP THE AIR“ draws the listener into the middle of the night. Already on the second track „COMING HOME“ the night starts to cheer, the listener has long infected, finding himself in the middle of the action.

Frayed guitars, plus significant electric sounds, music that fills every emptiness immediately. „WHERE THE DEVIL HAS HIS PLACE“ and „LITTLE THRONE“ are rockin´on, creating sounds that go on its own momentum.

Through cooperation with the Freiburg rapper „Heades da Magister” the four guys of Goodbye EMMA! prove the diversity of this band. „Coming Home“ is probably something for everyone!

A likeable Band whose Music should be heard every morning because it gives courage for the day.
